About this item
A gold-plated cylindrical tilhari on a green pote strand — the piece a married woman wears, and traditionally the one given at the wedding.
Said plainly, because this matters more than a sale: the tilhari is PLATED BRASS, not gold. It has the weight and the look and it will hold its finish for years with reasonable care, and it costs a small fraction of the real thing. Anyone telling you a tilhari at this price is gold is not telling you the truth.
Keep it away from perfume, hairspray and sweat, which are what take plating off. Wipe it with a dry soft cloth, never a jewellery dip.
The strand it comes on can be restrung to your length, free, like any other pote here.
