About this item

Cooked tomato, timur, dried chilli, garlic, mustard oil. Timur is Nepali Sichuan pepper, and the tingling numbness it leaves on your lips is not a fault, not chilli heat, and not a sign that anything is wrong — it is the whole reason the spice exists, and it is why this achar tastes like home to anybody who grew up with it.
If you have never had timur, start with a small amount and eat it with rice rather than on its own. Fridge once opened, dry spoon, and it is happiest within a month.
