About this item
Pan-dried green from the same gardens: grassy, clean, no smoke and no roast. If your experience of green tea is a bitter cup from a supermarket bag, this is a different drink.
Bitterness in green tea is almost always the water. Let the kettle sit for a few minutes after it boils — somewhere around 75 to 80 degrees — and give it two minutes, not five. Do that and it is sweet and vegetal; boil it hard and it will turn astringent and you will blame the leaf.
Good for a second and even a third brew, each a little lighter. Keep it away from air and light, and drink this one within the year rather than saving it.
