About this item
The summer picking, and the one most people end up buying twice. Darker in the cup than the first flush, rounder, with the muscatel note that the Ilam and Darjeeling gardens on either side of that ridge are known for — a sort of ripe grape sweetness behind the tea.
More forgiving than the spring leaf, too. It survives four minutes, it survives being made slightly too strong, and it will take a splash of milk if that is how you drink tea, without falling apart.
Whole orthodox leaf, so give it room in the pot rather than cramming it into a small infuser. 100g is roughly forty cups.
