About this item
Jeera masino is the small-grained aromatic rice of the Nepali plains, and it is what dal bhat is made of at home — softer and a little sticky, with a smell when it cooks that basmati does not have. It is harder to get in Germany than basmati, which is why I carry it and why the sack is dearer. Cook it with a bit less water than basmati and do not soak it as long. Twelve sacks per consignment; when they are gone they are gone until the next one.
